Refund policy

Unrepairable Units & Refunds

In the event a unit is deemed unrepairable after testing, ERL will contact you to discuss options:

  • Replacement: We may offer a replacement unit, which will be an additional cost to the service fee already paid.
  • Return & Refund: If no replacement is available or you decline the offer, we will return the faulty unit to you. A refund of the original amount paid will be processed, minus our testing and investigation charge (as per Section 2.2) and the return shipping charge.

Post-Repair Malfunction (Warranty Claim Process)

In the event that an item does not operate correctly following repair within the warranty period, customers may return the item to ERL for further testing.

  • Return Authorisation: Customers are responsible for contacting ERL for return authorisation before sending back the item.
  • Shipping: Items returned for testing are subject to shipping fees, which are the customer's responsibility (unless the fault is confirmed as a valid warranty claim, per Clause 4.2).
  • Repair or Refund: If the malfunction is attributed to failed components or substandard workmanship within the warranty period, ERL holds the right to either repair the item at no additional cost or provide a refund equivalent to the initial repair fee paid to ERL (with proof of purchase of a replacement).
